At the top of the stairs is a laundry/crafts room. This room provides plenty of storage space and counters for folding. A sink provides a handy cleanup spot for crafts and home projects.

I love this room because of the natural light and the recess light. The room has a bright look. I love the desk and the folding table built above the washer and dryer. Plus having a sink in addition to the cabinetry below the sink, above the water and dryer and along side the desk provides useful storage

Not a library, per se, but laundry and office work are two things that aren't likely to be done at the same time, so the space can be reused. Just have to keep your desktop clean to use as a laundry table.
