abgal Must be honed granite. It's not as shiny and reflective as you see in most kitchens. Honed is definitely the way to go. Especially when you have as much light as this kitchen does.

David Vandervort Architects These are thermal-break aluminum windows manufactured by Milgard. Most of the windows in this photo are fixed and do not open. The ones that do are either casment (hinged on the side) or awning (hinged on the top).
