And I even meant that when I looked at specific shades like green or tan, if the green was on the bluish side (more cool than warm) it didn't look right, or if the tan had any amount of grey tinge to it it also didn't look right. Cooler colors either made the house recede or made the color look artificial. Here's to warm and welcoming!
If stick with cedar columns brackets used would be cedar. Horizontal bold white trim would be used to separate large peak to break it up. The top would be vertical siding like the small peak. Possibly use dentil white wide trim and add to both living room windows exterior trim.
