The elongated kitchen is embellished with shimmering glass tiles that lead all the way up. The tiles add a bit of contrast to the structured cabinets that line the wall. Tiles were sourced at Urban Archaeology's Glass Sticks with a custom color by Kara Mann. Barstools were set along the counter for an informal dining experience and additional guest seating. Large woven pendant lights by Moooi hang above.
So the next time you are purchasing furniture, artwork, lighting or accessories, consider playing with the scale of the pieces. Try oversize shades or a nontraditional-size couch. Why not hang supersize canvases of your children's artwork or place giant stepping stones leading to your front door?
