currently I have a 36" vanity up against the right hand wall. On the left side of the vanity there is 12-16" gap between the edge of the vanity and the bathtub. Directly above the vanity is a small tall slender window. Similiar to the pic here except instead of the waste basket on right side there is a wall. I want to get a bigger vanity 48" and close up that gap between vanity and the tub. I would end up just like the set up here on this pic except for the wall on the right side. Question, is it wise to close up that gap design wise and take up the access of that side of the bathtub? I am afraid vanity will look "boxed" in between the right wall and the edge of the tub. »
