This black and white guest bedroom features two queen sized beds. The multiple combinations of fabrics really help to pull the room together and feel comfortable.
Cindy Moore Thank you. It looks really nice with black. I'm getting ready to do my 14 yr. old son's room in black, gray and white. I appreciate the help.
What is the size of this room? - How big does the room have to be to accommodate two queens like this. We are considering the same thing and this design is so lovely and still spacious. »
christy johnson I would say, at minimum, you would need about an 18' wide room. That should give you 2-3' of walk way in between the queen beds. If the beds have a larger wood frame, you may need more.
jody1843 Thank you for the quick response. Our home is still under construction and I believe the finished length will be between 15' and 15.5' so we may have to elect to go with 2 full size beds. I don't want to have nothing but wall to wall beds for a guest room.
christy johnson Yes, the euro shams were custom made. It is just a cotton print of white with black swirls on it. I'm not sure if the fabric is still current or not as it has been several years. Thanks for asking though.
I like the size of the beds in a guest this provides. More people can share the space so it feels more like a hotel suite rather than a regular guest room. When I have guest, I likethem to feel they are in a five star hotel.
