The clean lines of the contemporary living room mixes with the warmth of Walnut wood flooring. Pewabic tiles add interest to the slate fireplace.

Margeaux Interiors Inc. - Margaret Presti Thank you for your interest. The window manufacturer is PeachTree. http://www.peachtreedoor.com/
Cottage Style which has the mullions on the upper sash only, double hung, wood interior, clad exterior. Unfortunately, I do not recall the size. The trim around the window was a 1"x4" with a backband.
Margeaux Interiors Inc. - Margaret Presti Your Sherwin Williams paint dealer should be able to color match Benjamin Moore. You may want to pick up a swatch of the Benjamin Paint prior, since colors can look very different from a computer monitor to the actual color on the wall.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. - I love the sea mist green walls. We are buying a condo with kitchen,
dining room and living room all one big long area. Would it be too much to use sea mist throughout? We have an inside unit and are wondering if we should use an off white or a uniform color like sea mist throughout. Also What color cabinets in kitchen would you use? we like white, natural maple and dark woods. What do you think? »
Margeaux Interiors Inc. - Margaret Presti Thank you. It would be difficult to answer without seeing the space. Lighting, windows, floorplan, and existing furniture pieces, are all important factors. If you do not have much natural light, then white cabinets may be a good option.
Does the ceiling color matter? what color the ceiling should be to work well with the wall corlor - and where I can find the leather sofa? It looks really nice. »
butterflylast Thank you so much for the reply Margaret! I will find those 2 colors. I don't have any furniture yet for this room. Gray carpet. Do you think BM's Gray mirage 2142-50 would work?
Margeaux Interiors Inc. - Margaret Presti Sorry, the coffee table has been discontinued. I do have local furniture makers than can duplicate something similar.
Margeaux Interiors Inc. - Margaret Presti Thank you. The surround has a mixture of painted and stained cherry with Arts and Crafts details in the trim accents. The mantle top is solid cherry with a stain. The legs are a cherry veneer stained. Hope this helps.
using this color scheme or very similar what color curtains would you recommend? For walls I m thinking very similar like BM Spring Meadow or Sherwood Forest. So all greens. I was thing of a darker shade of green or a brown? suggestions please? Thank you for your time :) »
bml1996 thank you for your response. What is the name of the color of the walls in your pic? I do have another question if you would be so kind to advise on. My house was built in 1940. The dining/living room ceiling has a lowered "edge" about 10" wide all the way around the rooms. (see pic) How would you suggest painting this? Should I treat it like crown molding and keep it white and the use 2 different shades of whatever green (Neon Celery) for the wall and ceiling ?
Margeaux Interiors Inc. - Margaret Presti I believe the color on the walls was Benjamin Moore Pale Sea MIst 2147-50. Without actually seing the space and other elements in person, it looks like the lowered area is stucco like the ceiling.I would treat the lowered edge as part of the ceiling color. If the edge was a smooth look, then I would have used the color of your trim.
htroy Thank you. THe chair rail is only on 1 wall. It has no raised trim panels. THe stairs are behind the couch and they are open from the living room. The wall/corner is separate but can be seen from the dining room and living room I guess I will try Ben Moore Pale Sea Mist if you do not have another paint color suggestion. I appreciate all of the advice. I can't wait to paint it!
Margeaux Interiors Inc. - Margaret Presti If it isn't too difficult, an option then is to just remove the chair rail, since it is only on one wall. Dark linen 2147-60 is a slightly lighter version of this, which works well with browns, maple wood, and grays.
Margeaux Interiors Inc. - Margaret Presti Thank you. The floors are a solid 3/4" Brazillian Walnut, which were finished on site with a clear sealant. A color stain was not used, the tones that you see are natural.
Like this pretty paint color for some reason - soothing... not sure what room... maybe Mom's bedroom since it is kind of small and dark. This would open up the space.
