Peter Medvin Sorry - I have no idea. I just tried to search "Traditional Leather Office Chair" images but couldn't find an exact match. It's nice with the low back, which is clearly fairly unique.
Where does the mattress for this Murphy bed go? How does it fold up? Obviously the "box spring" compresses, but if the mattress is an actual fabric/springs mattress, does it somehow slide up the back of the wall, or is it just an air mattress that you would pump up after the base folds out? Please enlighten me, Thanks! »
Peter Medvin The mattress "snakes" up behind the cabinet and sits vertically when retracted. You can see it best here. http://www.zoom-room.com/how-it-works/

millerofmadison Apparently this bed pushes back into the wall rather than folding up. Obviously this requires open space behind the wall (which would be possible in an upstairs with attic space behind the bookcase.
Peter Medvin Actually, the bed "snakes" up behind the cabinet, which only needs to be 24" deep. This is what allows you to have a flat screen TV or, as is the case in this image, bookshelves. You can seen exactly how it works at:
Murphy beds make it really easy to convert a guest room into another type of room for regular use. This one is a home office that becomes a guest bedroom when the bed is pulled down.
