Window Treatments

Elegant kitchen/dining room panels hang from 4 medallions. The fabric is traditional and vibrant and paired with a blue silk band at the top to add a punch of color.

Exciting Windows! by Stacey Hudson
I measured the windows as I would with any drapery panel length. Each panel is one width of fabric...about 48" wide finished. There is approximately 6-8" between the stems of the medallions. The space depends on how much of the wall or window you want to cover. What makes this hang so beautifully is the contrast color that is folded forward from the back side of the panel. This accent band is sewed to the top of the lining on the back of the panels. Folding the contrast to the front puts a little pull on the fabric between the knobs and causes it to stand up instead of sagging. Hope this helps! I made these and installed these myself, which is a benefit to designing drapery.
