McClellan Architects Thank you! The stair has wood treads and risers with a steel stringer. The guardrail is steel and glass with a wood and steel handrail.
McClellan Architects I don't believe any plastic was used in this plaster - the highlights are created by the light washing the wall. The plaster color was Toasted Wheat - by Pratt and Lambert and the installer applied the plaster in a crisscross type motion.
Lights tucked along this stair back both illuminate the steps and showcase the rich glow of the wood.More:Overlooked Design Opportunity: Stair RisersHow to Get Your Stair Runners Right

Love this stairway design as well. Notice the low-profile rail system.
