Wall Glazing; Faux Finishes

Traditional Hall, Las Vegas

Cigar Room, Las Vegas, NV Our client loved to smoke his cigars and play pool with his buddies. His wife say, "Okay, you'll have to add in whole room ventilation system to draw the smoke out of the room to keep the smell from the rest of the house" The walls & ceiling were faux finished using a two-layer glazing process in a burnished congac tones. Or maybe the top of a nicely browned creme brulee desert. Very gorgeous. The Interior Designer called out for us to add high gloss clear coats on the walls & ceilings both for look and for a nice surface protection from any chance of smoke absorption. This finish turned out to rank among my top 100 all-time favorites. Please visit Jacqueline Coburn's Interior Art profile, and take a peek inside our project files. You will see many beautiful ways to embellish surfaces as a means to create gorgeous backdrops to impeccable design through the use of faux finishes, wall glazings, paints & stains, Venetian Plasters, Trompe L'oiel artwork and so much more most people would never imagine possible. We hope you'll be inspired by what's possible with paints. Jackie Coburn's www.InteriorArt.net Interior Designer, Adel Forsythe
