The dilemma of wanting separate his and her master bathrooms while maintaining a sense of shared space was solved with a round bathroom design, in which each person would have half of the circle but share the round tub in the center. Daylight floods into the master bathroom from the round skylight shaft centered above the round whirlpool tub. A 42” plasma TV automatically drops out of the ceiling just left of the tub for the ultimate bathing indulgence.

COOK ARCHITECTURAL Design Studio Thank you for your interest in our project. The contractor used Estate Windows located in Lake Bluff, Illinois, they are a supplier for Marvin Windows. We are not aware of any issues with the window.

A luxurious round bathing tub is very heavy visually. Instead of dinky little skylights, a bold circular skylight above the tub balances the space. The glass shower and the lighter-tone materials counterbalance the two.
