In his quest to preserve the beauty of traditional Islamic architecture, Alan Adams has created a modern-day masterpiece. His Cordoba pair of lattice panels is inspired by 8th century architecture from the Great Mosque at Cordoba. Like its namesake, Cordoba is an elegant fusion of East and West.
This timeless design, already more than a thousand years old, has been recreated in beautiful American red oak. In a technique developed by Alan, the individual wood pieces were carefully cut and assembled by hand, to resemble a woven pattern typical of Islamic geometric design. Once carefully assembled, he hand-finished them with linseed oil to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.
Alan only uses woods that can be sustainably harvested and finishes that are natural and eco-friendly. He hopes his pieces will be preserved and shared for generations to come.

Along with the artwork, the buyer will receive a detailed description, along with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Alan Adams.
