Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. Just as you would to a ceiling.
You just need to make sure that the hole for the electrical doesn't affect the weight bearing properties of the beam.

Nicole Eden_Muraoka Are you finding these floors hold up to wear and tear? I was leaning toward a walnut hardwood, but I'm worried because I have young children, and they would show all wear. These floors pictured look like they'd hide imperfections, dust, scraps, etc. Would love to know if this is what you have found?

jessica_l_cunningham I would like to know the same thing, we have 3 children, ages range between 8 and 12. I was hoping they would be a little more "forgiving" at hiding imperfections
