This former modular shower was expanded by carving additonal space out of a storage space above the stairs and lifting the ceiling to allow the skylight. Antique Delft tiles collected over time by the client were integrated into the tile field and Danby marble serves as both the shelf and threshold. Renovation/Addition. Rob Karosis

Where is the shower head in this shower stall? - We have a slanted attic shower and the current shower head placement is too low. We are trying to determine where to place a shower head on a slanted roof. »

More collections were put into action in this shower: this time, the client's collection of antique Delft tiles came in handy. The shelf and threshold are Vermont Danby marble. "We raised the shower ceiling to follow the roofline so that we could add the skylight," Smith says. She also borrowed a bit of space that had formerly been a storage space over the stairs to expand the shower stall.
Another good blue tile idea. Not a fan of the two different angles on the walls, however. The wall tile is Pratt and Larson 6x6 in 2 watercolor glazes W5 and W8. The darker blue inlay in the wall are antique transfer ware tiles our client found in England. The shower floor is Walker Zanger Vintage Glass and the color is "Denim" the finish is Luste
I don't like the feature tiles, but I like the overall look of the shower tile. The wall tile is Pratt and Larson 6x6 in 2 watercolor glazes W5 and W8. I like that this shower that is not huge, and all you would have to squeegee is the door. It needs to have a bench. It might need to be a little bigger, for bathing dogs.
