The one that blew my hair back. So many things jump to mind here: French boudoir. A young girl's favorite dolls. Beet-juice stains. The Jetsons. Love. Designer Mal Corboy (also of the first kitchen) is renowned for his use of color, and a fearless client gave him free reign. Here he had large sheets of glass etched with a fleur-de-lis pattern, then painted that delicious shade.

Love the damask etched glass pattern on the island. Imagine a bright wallpaper set under glass (for maintenance). Easy to swap out and change the whole look of the room

I like the subtle detail from lamps to separate cooking area and dining area...pink is the color of universal love, providing feelings of caring, tenderness, self-worth and tolerance....so why not in the kitchen ? Put some pink in your life when you want to neutralize disorder; chen you want peaceful feelings, tranquility, acceptance, contentment !

This kitchen was a wonderful project for a heritage list home in NZ and uses a lot of colour and glass with Corian and lighting but made sure to keep the lines simple .
The work triangle is ideal with a scullery behind electric sliding doors. Do not be scared of using colour as it is a great way to add your own personal touch.
