Amoroso Design The cabinets are an espresso stain on select alder. Select alder has no knot holes and takes a stain really well.

mike alfermann have you thought about copper or antique brass? stamped patterns are inexpensive and can add some very unique flair to any backsplash. at the moment i do not have pictures but your probably et some.

Stephanie Duerden I know this feed is extremely past it's original date, but Oceanside Glasstile has some really unique glass designs that no other glass manufacturer can replicate. You should check out their 3 dimensional pieces. Here's an example:
