I would do a low growing wildflowers meadow or no-mow grass in the front (no mowing) transitioning to a border with native, low water and maintenance shrubs such as spirea, or tall grasses with flowers. I would leave the driveway in gravel bordered and contained by belgian block, and would block the neighbor's view with a row of flowering cherries or serviceberries. It is a very elegant house and I would soften it with a natural landscaping. good luck
