WHITE BEAMS? - I've recently taken down, the old plaster walls and ceiling down throughout my 1890 home. After removing the ceiling, I fell in love with the beamed look, but because we have single flooring, what I was seeing when I would look up, were the bottom of the pine floorboards from upstairs. I knew that to keep this look, we would have to do something more between the beams. These beams were hidden in the ceiling for near 130 years and weren't very nice looking. So, I thought I would get bead board, and stain it, paint the beams white, and put up the bead board in between. The finish of the beadboard is very similiar to your beams. i would like to upload before and after »
Thanks!
