metreeid I think I figured it out. Weathered ipe? All my clients have used some sort of rub to keep it more red. I really like the color it weathers to shown here. It reminds me of a high quality teak wood but ipe is apparently a more ecologically renewable tree. Nice simple lines here, I like your work!

Here is a larger version of a similar style of succulent as the small ones in the above photo. What's interesting to me here is how this plant is almost white. Combined with the black pot, I could see it looking really neat in a mod home.
