Bill Fry Construction - Wm. H. Fry Const. Co. The question has been responded to previously by the architect:
"They're honed black granite with a leather (also called antiqued) finish. Very forgiving."
Some of our clients have leathered granite and it feels and looks wonderful!

kellycugino When you say honed black. Is it absolute black or uba tuba?

duroc I'm not an expert on countertops, would a honed black granite hold up to a messy family?
If not, suggestions of similar countertops with the same look?
