Made my Grandma something like this when I was in the 3rd grade, only we used a baby food jar with the lids painted gold and the jar turned upside down. We put plastic roses in them which were held in place by play dough. Oh, that was 51 years ago and I now have it since my Grandma passed away almost 10 years ago. She kept it displayed all those years. God love our Grandma's.
