This redesign took an outdated, storage-starved master bath into the 21st century.
A standard soaker gave way to an air-jet whirlpool. A dark stall yielded to a luxury shower, featuring his-and-hers niches, tiled bench, hand-held and rain shower heads, all sleekly wrapped in a frameless glass enclosure.
Builder-grade materials surrendered to custom cherry built-ins with clothing, cosmetic and hamper storage; porcelain and glass tile, quartz counter tops, wall sconces and designer fixtures.
The homeowners, a couple of empty-nesting professionals, were thrilled with their masterful new bath and plan to enjoy it well into their retirement years.

Bathroom Resolution No. 6: I'll give myself enough elbow room.Bathroom storage towers are a great way to add storage to a bathroom, as these do. If, however, you're cramped for space, skip this option. Use the extra space to put a soap dish or dispenser and have room left over for your contact lens holders.
This master bath redo I designed for a client not only incorporated green porcelain and glass tile, it featured beautiful gray-green Cambria (Hyde Park) quartz countertops that look like beach glass. Green meshes beautifully with natural wood cabinets, just as leaves enhance trees. My rule of thumb: If colors work together in nature, they'll work well together in your home.
Good idea for storage
