We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to enjoy an evening with Mr. & Mrs. Oh....shared the cooking and loved working in this Kitchen! The Island is a great spot for making pizza, eating a casual meal, or doing homework. The range is fabulous...Notice the baking area on the left...Countertop in Danby marble and at just the perfect height for rolling out pie crust...kneading bread...

No question, just wanted to tell you what an amazing kitchen this is! »
Trish Namm, Allied ASID - Kent Kitchen Works This backsplash is available as an accessory when purchasing the range. Most manufacturers have that available as an option.
Love the kitchen! Can you tell me more about the hood and it's dimensions, primarily the depth? - We are wondering if it is a 24" or 27" depth hood. Thanks! »
Trish Namm, Allied ASID - Kent Kitchen Works In this case, we used a range with high btu burners and the specs required at least 24" depth. When our clients use professional style ranges this is pretty typical. Depending on the hood, most are placed within a range of 30" - 36" above the cooking surface, so we take the height of our clients into consideration when deciding the placement of the hood. It works out pretty well.
merer Thank you very for your responses! We are installing a Wolf cooktop and are trying to decide between 24" or 27". We loved the look of this hood because it doesn't look like it comes out too far. We will keep in mind that we can place the range higher. Thanks again!
Honed Rosemary Caesarstone - We planned our kitchen around a honed Rosemary Caesarstone sample, but when we went to price we found they have discontinued the color and there is no inventory left in the US. We are struggling to find a replacement and are considering Azule limestone or one of the newer ReVelle colors. Any thoughts? »
Trish Namm, Allied ASID - Kent Kitchen Works Stone Sealer's Choice is a good one...15 year guarantee....Dry Treat is another that is fantastic, but you should read the application instructions carefully before committing to that. I love Tung Oil for wood floors...but have never heard of it being used on countertops.
Cliffside Industries It appears that the knob and cup pull are both from Cliffside's Scroll Suite in Old Antique, one of Cliffside's two oil-rubbed bronze finishes. The knob is the 105-OA oval knob, and the K4235-OA cup pull appears on the drawers. This suite, with matching pulls, latches, and hinges, is available from the manufacturer in 10 finishes: http://www.cliffsideind.com/suite/scroll.
Trish Namm, Allied ASID - Kent Kitchen Works It is a really cool and functional kitchen, especially for kids and multiple cooks. The tile is white, and I'm not sure what the grout color is exactly, but it closely matches the tile color.
Trish Namm, Allied ASID - Kent Kitchen Works The Countertop is Caesarstone. The photo looks grey, but it has a bit of green in it...The color is Rosemary. Glad you like it!

Trish Namm, Allied ASID - Kent Kitchen Works Frank, thanks for posting the fixtures from Troy...very nice! The pendants over the Island are actually from Rejuvenation.
Marie Meko, Allied ASID Traditionally bakers always prefered marble becuase of the texture and temperature so I think they wanted a true bakers area and not just a look. I had a client who is a fantastic baker and I learned that from her.... I told my chidren all cookies came in a box!
Trish Namm, Allied ASID - Kent Kitchen Works This is marble...Marble can be sealed with impregnating sealers that can be guaranteed for up to 15 years.
I like the pendants above the island. They're a little different from the typical inustrial pendant. Can you share the manufacturer or source? Thank you. »
Ceiling height? - One more question, okay, maybe two more. How high are these ceilings? Also, I need to make a decision between lovely inset cabinets and full overlay. Besides price, any drawbacks to inset cabinets? To me, the cabinets in this kitchen are absolutely perfect. »
