Interest is given to this kitchen by varying the colour of the cabinets. Optically the stone colour of the base cabinets makes them come forward in contrast to the cafe au lait colour of the wall cabinets which makes them appear to receed. The gloss finish bounces light around the room. Walnut worktops add luxury.

Celia James l'm sorry but it's impossible to give a "cost for a design" as you request. There are many variable factors in planning a kitchen not to mention the labour involved but l can tell you that this kitchen is in Category 2 out of 5 Categories, with 5 being the most expensive.

Mono chromatic color in varying sheens + walnut wrap on the left base cabinet - love. Book shelf in corner is awkward and pants on sill don't look in scale w/space nor do they echo the upscale finishes. Chair is too cheap for setting to be cohesive as well. Love double ovens though it's a small space and hardware could use upgrade - to predictable.
