Argia Designs Landscape Design & Consultation The wall was originally slump stone and the contractor filled in with a concrete stucco and then a colored stucco over the top.
Argia Designs Landscape Design & Consultation Great question Liza! My clients purchased the chair after installation and I completely forgot to ask them! If I find out I will post it here!

Argia Designs Landscape Design & Consultation Thank you! The design called out for 1x6 and 1x2 sawn redwood. The contractor did a great job with installation.
The homeowner did find that the 1x2s did sag a bit following installation so they used narrow wood wedges between the fence slats to hold them up while they cured. I am guessing this is a problem caused by using uncured lumber.
I like this design but I am not sure if it is cost effective. Also, because our property has more slope than this photo, it might not work to have concrete, This might be possible on the part behind the garage....
