This is quite different from my other ideas for the attic. Would make use of our 3-piece shrank, (a large storage/display unit in our main floor living room.) The shrank doesn't suit the decor of our living room, but might go well in the attic. One of the 3 units has a flip-down shelf (like the one in the photo) and could serve as a work/office space that could easily be shut out of sight. We could use the shranks as room dividers which double as shelves. Two units could be positioned back-to-back and the other shrank3rd unit could perhaps have an upholstered wall on the back to give it a finished look. Or maybe a mirror.
Also of note in this photo, is the shelf on the right (at hip-height, and with small plant pots on it. ) That seems like a pretty good idea: almost like a buffet and hutch, you get a set of shelves, as well as a narrow side table along the front of the shelves, at a convenient height.
