Indicia Interior Design The wood species is walnut. The cabinet maker did a great job of matching the veneers so the wood grain flows from one drawer/door to the next. We did not stain the walnut just used a clear matte finish. Are you thinking to use Walnut in you next project?

Indicia Interior Design The refrigerator is from Jenn-Air. I believe it is one of the few French door style refrigerators with ice and water in the door. All the best for your upcoming project!
slwslw I'm having trouble choosing a grout color, any suggestions? I like the look of what's in this photo...minimal contrast to the white glass color.
Indicia Interior Design These cabinets will last a long time. Don't shy away from quality veneers, you'll get the beauty of the wood and the stability of the substrait. Work with a reputable cabinetmaker. Best wishes on your projects!
The LED-lit cabinets are one of Schwartz's favorite parts about the kitchen. Each shelf has a row of LEDs running through it, lighting up the interior of the cabinet when the doors are open. All the cabinetry was custom made out of walnut, and aluminum doors were installed on the upper cabinetry. Stainless steel pulls from Siro add to the kitchen's modern look but are slim enough that fingerprints won't become an issue. Schwartz had oak flooring installed in this space and finished to match the flooring in the rest of the home for continuity. I do not actually like the wood itself (it looks a little too much like "plastic") but I really like the look. I think the frosted glass fronts make it look much less like a wall of wood.. And, if I am looking at it right, the frames on those cabinets are stainless. Pretty cool.
