Eutree Wide Plank Flooring Its prefinished and also engineered would be my guess if thats water in the background. The engineered product will be more stable with higher levels of humidity.
alinap Thank you! If you can send me a few pictures that show the railing better that would be great.
Just curious if you could share how much the railing design, material, construction & installation cost?
Eutree Wide Plank Flooring There are several makers here in the states. Pricing will vary. We craft floors but only from American White Oak. This pictures looks like a pickled or whitewash finish. joel@eutree.com
HELP, PLEASE! How did you achieve this beautiful "bleached" floor? I have had red oak installed throughout our house and have been testing and testing different stains and combinations of stains and can't seem to get this effect.
Any advice would be most appreciated! »
seamus Thank you for your reply! I love your floors!
We are trying to tone down the pink as much as possible and want a light floor with some white/ gray in it. I don't think we wil be able to find someone to bleach the floors. What has stopped me has been the instruction to basically hose off the bleaching products (twice) before applying a finish. That and discussion about lots of protective gear....
We have been diluting paint colours and right now we are looking at 1 part BM Wind's Breath to 2 part water. I can't go too white because up a couple of stairs is an ivory hardwood floor throughout.
My first choice would be to bleach and then probably a matte finish. I am going to take up the hunt for someone to bleach the wood before a final choice now that I know you found someone!
murphymatthews Yikes, all the hosing off and protective gear would concern me, too.
I just looked up Wind's Breath and it's really pretty, Christine. I like that it has some green in it (which should also help with the pink).
While I was researching all this I was really surprised at how difficult it was to find any information on how to achieve a white washed/bleached wood floor effect. I scoured the internet for some guidance without much luck -- you may have had more success than I did.
Good luck! If you think of it, post with your final results.
The clients wanted to fully appreciate the home's beautiful ocean views. Palmer opened up the first floor, creating a larger space encompassing the kitchen, dining and living room. This main space is on the ground floor, near the front door, so the family can see the water as soon as they walk into their home.Pendant: Boyd LightingDining table: John Saladino Chairs: Vladimir Kagan
