Zenteriors by Camian Larson Back then, I helped run a custom-build crew with some masons, and I gave them color-coded, scaled renderings of what I wanted. They framed it in place, then the stucco guys enclosed it on the exterior, and the sheetrockers worked the inside. Everybody probably hated me equally for how many corners I created with the design.... There was another one of these, but skinnier in the shower to the left, then the garage had three very complicated designs as well....
Zenteriors by Camian Larson 2 separate materials: top and bottom were 2x2" slate strips cut from a 12x12" mesh mounted sheet, the middle is 4x12" mesh mounted river rocks. The slate is available from lots of manufacturers, and the color name varies by company. Check out MSI, NTI and Thorntree to start. A color might be "autumn." The rock is also available from numerous places, right now only Solistone or Soli USA is coming to mind, but you would find more options through your local higher-end tile store (boutique).
It would have been easy to install a square grid of glass blocks (also known as glass bricks) in this bathroom and call it a day. Instead, a more inspired pattern becomes a pretty focal point.

glass blocks - nice idea to break up monotonous feel. the glass blocks would allow light t continue from the dormers, thru to the rest of the attic space.
