Wow, that's a heck of a question. Not to be evasive but I'd turn that one right back around and ask you what do you like. Your white cabinets and your wood floors are neutrals and if you want to stay neutral, go with a black or tan-colored counter. If you want to choose a color for your counters, you can go with a green tone, a blue tone or a yellow tone. Based on what you have started already, it's hard to go wrong. However, settle on a counter before you commit to a back splash tile.
