shutters - planter boxes - - Interior has many wonderful touches and is very thoughtfully planned out. I am guessing the homeowner wanted the blue touches. I am a landscape designer and artist and I would have made them more of a colbalt blue to match the gorgeous stone outside. The color is too glaring and takes away from the beauty of the design-too distracting. I also have a tudor home and I know how tough it can be to change it up outside. Now all you need is a tudor knot garden in front to compliment the home. »
cyn222 Blue on door shutters is one thing but alittle bright. I think a darker blue with a grey tone would work better. The planter boxes went over the top. Too much color. Beautiful home, but I would have stayed with more earthy colors pulled from the stone. Window box is a nice touch.
