couple of questions - Beautiful kitchen! Can you tell me the type of wood/stain, color of paint and color/material of counters? I love how the black balances the room, it is perfect! »
Artisan Kitchens LLC The floor is Brazilian cherry with a tung oil finish, and the countertops are soapstone that has been oiled with mineral oil. I don't know the precise name of the wall paint color, but it's a soft blue-gray. Thanks for the compliments!
Artisan Kitchens LLC It is soapstone, oiled. You should be able to find it at your local stone supplier. It will look light grey when you view it in the stoneyard.
centaurita Nice - I have a gas log stove with soapstone inserts and this looks like it has much more texture, but we are building a new home and this is definitely the look we want! Thank You SO much for the info :)
My customer got RIGHT back to me! Here is what she said:
"I purchased the lights on line from a site called NY Lighting. The brand is Visual Comfort. It is a studio pendant in bronze. Here is one site that I found it on:"
bungalowarthouzz Thank you so very much! Please thank your client too. I'm so happy to have a source for these. Have never heard of Visual Comfort. Must be a regional brand.
Again, thank you! I hope your kindness is returned tenfold.
Artisan Kitchens LLC The homeowner supplied her own stools for this kitchen, but these aren't hard to find - I see that Crate & Barrel has them in a couple of colors: http://www.crateandbarrel.com/furniture/barstools/1
10. Tuck it into a corner. As I mentioned before, sometimes the simplest solution is the best. A small TV in the corner can be the least noticeable option.
