David Howell Design its a climate question ...in San Miguel its always pretty warm - but YES you are correct the concrete mass absorbs heat / you need lots of hot water /dh

anasam Any water that splashes goes down the drain next to the tub. These types of baths dry quicker and are way easier to keep clean.

"All of the interior wall surfaces are simple plaster," Howell says. "In this bathroom, they had been naturally prepared for paint, but we left them like this to show off the beautiful variegated color and texture." The sink was another antique local roadside find. For the bathtub, using concrete was a no-brainer because the artisans were able to form just about anything out of concrete onsite.
