With a TV in a mirror in the bathroom, what happens if the TV needs a repair? Is there a way to install the TV so that the whole mirror doesn't have to be ruined to get to the TV? »
Media Decor In most cases, the entire piece of glass is installed so that it can be removed without destroying anything. A competent glasier can do this.
Sometime the TV is attached directly onto the back of the glass and the 'guts' of the TV are mounted remotely. In other words, only the actual LCD panel is attached to the back of the glass and a single cable is run to a separate box. This is done so that the TV guts can be replaced without removing the mirror. But this a very special and expensive TV.
Also, often there is planned access behind the mirror from another room, but I cannot say from the photo what was done.
Another way to add TV to your bathroom is right into your vanity mirror. This is one of my favorite approaches, as it's sleek and wonderfully convenient.
