This client purchased a home in the Heights in Houston and wanted the Family room designed so they could entertain their large family with 2 sitting areas - one for the grownups to sit by the fireplace and the other for whoever wants to watch TV. We purchased 2 very comfy white linen sofas that the clients can lie down on, and 4 fabulous linen chairs with metal caps, upholstered in green tones. The white linen drapes that cover much of the side walls, hide the adjacent neighbor's home view and are banded in a contrasting green gro grain to match the chairs. Here is a photo of the finished family room with the pair of custom Tibetan rugs, the glass and marble coffee table and the custom mahogany fireplace with the negro marquina marble hearth and inserts ..
