nena0041 It actually looks more like Time worn calacatta or light travertine 2x4. They are made in Italy. You can find them at Venetian Stone in Irvine.
Rebekah Zaveloff | KitchenLab Some cities won't allow wood floors in bathrooms unless it's a powder room without a tub or shower. I would shy away from it even if it were allowed. Water and wood don't mix well and the wood will show wear over time. There is a product called Waterlox that's used on wood countertops - so that might be an option.
elphaba I also like the look of wood so I plan to investigate tile options that simulate wood. I've seen "bamboo" tile that looked especially nice and this photo reminded me of it though I haven't seen that in a while.
I am looking for a warm, light but rich paint color for my entry way and hallways of my 2 story home. - I have BM's Wickham Grey in my black/white kitchen and Coventry Gray in my connecting family room.
The front entrance/foyer wall is connected to the living/dining room and also up the stairs to the 2nd story hallways. Any suggestions? »
Japanese feeling. Sink on wood, with space beneath for use, shower stall enclosed in tile and glass. The walls in stone style (that's limestone, right?) is beautiful and would complement the blue tiles.
