CAROLE MEYER Next time we are in San Miguel....this is at the top of my list of "improvements" to make to the house. Again, great idea.....love the idea of carved wood...but I agree that the punched tin will work and they can be framed in wood. When I get it done I will photograph it. Carole
"When I started holding fabric up to the wall to pick a window treatment, I realized it would look strange next to the stones," says Neithart. Instead, she found some ornately carved wooden panels from India. She had a very talented carpenter cut them in half and create coordinating trim to make them function like shutters. "The windows are south facing, and they diffuse the light so well that my client hardly ever opens them," she says. "They also provide privacy from the neighbors."
