patrol44 Looks like Chiapas Sage. If I am wrong, I would love to know what they are too. Just finished up pavers similar to this design. I want to do the olive jars and boxwood as above. Just need to figure out if that is sage or not.
AMS Landscape Design Studios, Inc. My apologies for the delay in getting back to you regarding your question.
The paving around the fire-pit patio is made of smooth pebble stone inlay. This one is called Seaside pebble tile (also known as Indonesian pebble tile) and it comes in a 12"x12" mesh.
Perched on a hill, this patio is the perfect spot for an inset firepit, which offers clean lines and unobstructed views. Drew Sivgals of AMS Landscapes says a gas-fueled firepit is the best alternative in Southern California, where wood burning types are banned in new construction.
your water wall garden room could have the same type of feel...except with a DG floor...unless if in the future you have the additional funds to do a concrete or stone floor. Either is very nice. Note the night lighting, which could be in the water wall, and/or accent plants.
