I agree that the countertops are likely caesarstone or something similar, but I think the island is marble. Best of luck!

LDa Architecture & Interiors Hello! The island is approximately 3' x 8' and the pendants are spaced approximately 2' apart. The pendants are "Optic Pendant" from Restoration Hardware.

txtravelnurse I love this kitchen! I am going to copy it in my home. I am affraid to put marble in the kitchen with small kids. I am going to find something close in a granit. Can I create this look with cabinets and granit for less than $20K?

The kitchen island. The obvious first is the kitchen island, and how it has evolved from the restaurant bar. But the island also pays homage to the way restaurant kitchens are set up: modular and freestanding and often arranged in a galley design. Then there's the open kitchen and kitchen-as-theater trend in both residential kitchen and restaurant design that I think is here to stay. Once upon a time both types of kitchens were closed off with a swinging door!
