Richard Bubnowski Design LLC The railing is 1/4" x 1 1/4" flat bar stock steel. It was designed by us and fabricated by Butch's Welding out of Trenton, NJ. The finish is Benjamin Moore Industrial Coating dark bronze.

The shingles are Western Red Cedar. The stain is by California Storm Stains. We used a custom 50/50 mixture of Clear and Timbertone. Each shingle was individually hand-dipped.

The horizontal railings echo the railings used on the exterior balcony. "When my wife said we should paint this hallway this color I thought 'you've got to be kidding me!'" says Bubnowski. "I wanted everything to be white. But she was right; it warms things up and it stands up a lot better to sticky fingerprints from a 6 year old!"
