thebuilderdepot.com It looks excellent. But cutting 12x12" is a lot of work. I would recommend buying factory cut, that way it will have the micro-bevel around all 4 sides. We sell Italian 6x12" for $8.00SF or 12x24" for $9.95SF: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/cacbiho6xmat.html
Tracy Miller/Miller Greene Design Studio Thank you and I can always find a reason to spend time in NYC :). I will send you the manufacturer info on this 1x3 glass tile tonight. It is a grey translucent glass tile and it actually has some gold leaf flecks on some of the tiles. The owner did not like the gold flecks so we removed those tiles. It is a gorgeous tile.
Michael rust I usually have th marble fabricator cut a groove in the overhang the width of the glass being used. Or don't over hang towards the shower.
Tracy Miller/Miller Greene Design Studio Do you follow designers to make negative comments about their products? This is a public site and your opinions were not requested. I have used this product multiple times and have not had issues with it.
EMPIRE TILE & MARBLE SUPPLY This was not meant to be a negative comment in any way and I apologize if I made you feel that way. My only intention was to be informative. As I stated I have also seen people use this material without issue, although it is a common occurrence. I am sorry if I offended you
Jason Bailey The minimum size a shower should be is 3' x 3'. At that size it does feel slightly cramped so if you could make it 3' x 4' it would help considerably. Another idea, if you don't actually use your tub or if you are average height you could consider going to a shorter model 60" or 64" to give you more shower space. I'm not sure your total area but you could also consider a wet room.
Is the light safe for bathroom installion - Hi, I love the light, but in the description on the website, it only suggest using in a dining or living room, not over a tub. I would like to use it in the vanity area of my remodel. Can u tell me if if is safe.
