adrienc It's an under the steps closet. It very deep and quaint for a little get away.Three small children should fit. I wish I had thought of this idea with my exact closet.
8. Nestle it! An unused nook nestled under the stairs becomes a great hideout for little ones to read and play (not to mention another place to stash toys away when guests arrive.)
Kids love to play in small, secret spaces! A nook under the stairs is a perfect place for a secret playspace...and extra toy storage as well!
I'd love to hear your ideas for creating fun play spaces for your kids!
If you don't need another bathroom, why not turn the empty area under the stairs into a fun area for kids? The coolest part is that you can get away with painting it bubblegum pink and not wonder if it will work with the rest of the house. The kids will love visiting and will remember your house forever. I know this because my aunt had one, and it was so much fun. Plus, we'd keep ourselves entertained for hours on end and the grownups never bothered us.
Under-stair nooks. Take advantage of nooks and crannies. Kids love them because they’re just their size, and you’ll love it because it gives them somewhere to play and keeps all their stuff out of sight. A nook under the stairs is always a winner.
A simple curtain and some bright paint under these stairs is more than enough to entice a tot into the cozy space. Kids love to have a little hideaway of their own.
