How many hardscape stones can you mix? - I have light Eldorado stone inside our kitchen and family room, and want to use it in the backyard on the fireplace and built-in BBQ. On the trellis columns we are incorporating brick that is on our house in the front. Should we just stick to stained concrete for the ground surface? Will pavers be too much?

I really believe that less is more. You can easily wind up with too many materials that create a very "busy space". Pavers can be a good idea but I would select them so they are similar to one of the other materials
