Flagstone patio and faux rock walls encompass dry area of swim-through grotto pool that includes a beach entry, multiple waterfalls and swim-through grotto that leads to swim up bar, grotto kitchen and flagstone patio with outdoor television and sound system (shown in image). Thirty-two custom light shows created just for the homeowner from Color Kinetics can be activated along with the waterfalls by remote control.

CAVINESS LANDSCAPE DESIGN, INC. These are faux rock walls - we shot a special concrete mix and formed it by hand, then stained to match the natural boulders that were integrated in the pool. Thanks for asking!

A dry grotto area can be incorporated with a swim-through grotto and can house a kitchen area for refreshments, restroom, or a television viewing room (as seen above). Just think of a dry grotto area as a pool house - only connected with the pool!
