This hood is a Travertine kitchen hood from a company called Materials Marketing http://www.mstoneandtile.com/ There are many different profiles available, all beautiful. If you contact them they will talk you through the selection and installation process. If you go onto the Go Home website or contact them directly they should be able to give you a retailer in your area. It looks different than Amarican White Oak as it is slightly more rustic with knotty features that receive stain beautifully. The finish is a fumed process that had about 5 layers to it. It involves bleaching the wood and then white washing it which was achieved by the skilled eye of the finisher. The lumber was purchased by a distributor here in Los Angeles, www.Nikzad.com. They have finishes that you can purchase that are similar to this look. Hope that helps. Charmean Neithart
