Kara Bowman This was a remodel, therefore we kept the original 3" oak floors and just refinished them. The stain was a custom mix, so I don't have the exact details, but I know we started with Daly's English Oak.
Kara Bowman They are a substantial shaker style cabinet (larger rails and stiles then a typical shaker door), and the stain is a custom warm, mid-tone brown. The cabinets are alder and have been distressed. We used a custom cabinet shop up in Canada for these, which I believe is no longer in business. Any custom cabinet shop can create something similar if you show them an image. :)
wendyjhoward I'm in the process of ordering slate tiles very similar. I think it's "china multicolor", but there are loads of similar color combinations.
Kara Bowman Yes, it actually is China Multicolor. This particular tile was purchased from Pental Granite & Marble in Seattle, but you can find it most anywhere. Sorry for the delayed response.
Kara Bowman The slate tile used was "Rich Autumn" from Pental, however China Multi-color and Jak Slate's are similar in coloration. For this floor, 16"x16" slate tiles were purchased, and I had the tile installers cut the tiles to fit the pattern (using 8"x16", 8"x8" and the original 16"x16" sizes).
