rbcola Since you feel this is a standard manufactured woodburning fireplace.......do you sell this fireplace or can you tell me where I could find it? Also, with the ability to use propane gas
COASTROAD Hearth & Patio - There are dozens of manufactured fireplaces like this, most with gas knockouts for use with gas logs. And yes, we do sell them, but they are not uncommon. I'm sure your local fireplace company can help. If you don't have anyone close, feel free to contact me directly and I'll help you through the project.
Of course, what makes that particular fireplace interesting is the Venatino marble surround and hearth. It may be a little more difficult to find someone who can do that. You can see from the shadow on the wall that the outer surround has a little depth, and creating that depth is where the challenge is.

Becky Harris Nope, technically a landscape architect! But you can search your city for interior designers in your area on Houzz! Go to Professionals at the top of the page, and then pick your city to find one with style that you like.
You can also get them new at Moderica, but they are reproductions not licensed re-issues. :D Though through these you can pick from a fair selection of fabrics. ps pricey, but SO comfy - and completely fabulous. :)
...and in the bedroom. In fact, I've read that top interior designer Vincente Wolf has one in his own bedroom. If that's not a ringing endorsement, I don't know what is.
Texture. Here’s to proving that a largely white or neutral space can be cozy: it all depends on texture. If you’re going for this look, make sure your rug, upholstery and accessories have different levels of texture; think of adding a faux sheepskin throw over a suede couch. In this shot, even the marble mantel brings additional texture to the room.
If you're looking for a bit more detail than a simple slab, but you don't want a wood surround, think about ways to treat the stone with more detail. Here the stone ledge projects past the face of the surround on the outside edge, and the surround is stepped to give the stone a shadow line and more architectural detail.
The core pieces in this space feel modern, from the oak canopy bed to the iconic Hans Wegner Papa Bear Chair. However, the blue color of the suede wallpaper and billowy curtains soften this dreamy modern bedroom.
I don't particularly like this specific surround, however, using another piece of stone (different color) with more depth (creates a shallow mantel) to surround the granite that you already have is interesting. Its a "no wood" look that could really bring some drama to this wall.
