It features custom morticed steel legs that are carved perfectly through the solid wood top; emphasizing the balance and craftsmanship of mastering both wood and metal. The seat featured is one solid piece of natural western maple, with knots and checks polished to a satin sheen rather than hidden or disguised. A hand-rubbed oil and wax finish protects and highlights the natural beauty of the material without sacrificing durability. The steel legs are hand-blackened and finished to a similar low-luster satin. The four contact points have rubber-capped screws to allow the piece to sit level on any surface without marring.
