Distance between columns - THIS IS STUNNING!!! would you please tell me the interior distance between columns is? Also, what are the dimensions of the glass cabinets? Thanks!! »
nmfoxtrot we don't fry a lot of food either but I find the glass cupboards need cleaning daily...the vapours from cooking travel ffurther than one might think and tend to act like a magnet....but I just discovered "invisible glass" cleaner and it makes life easier! Good luck with your project....its a beautifu look
joyful_lady Thanks nmfoxtrot. Now you have me thinking. I think I'll get a portable cabinet and put situate it in about the same location from my current cooktop as that will be. I do have one of those clocks in about that place now, the ones where the little people come out and dance every hour and it plays different tunes. It has a glass front that I do not have to clean with great frequency. I discovered Mr. Clean last year. The sponges (not for glass, but in general). We had a tenant with kids and I was sure I would have to pain the entire hallway and back of the kitchen counter. Someone suggested I try the Mr. Clean sponge and it all came off. I did not need to paint at all.
So what is the bigger picture? What rooms are behind the chairs, in front, to the left and right? Can this be done in 8 foot ceilings or does it required 9 or 10 foot ceilings? Are their other pictures from different angles and not so tight in so you can see what is around this plan? »
westrenlegend yes you can do this with 8,7 or even 2' ceilings lol you can do any style in any home there is nothing you cant do in your house that some one in a mansion has done the only difference is space like how many more shelves or how much longer it can be if you want something done in your house that you seen some where ells than do it don't let your size slow you down lol good luck
Kelly Porter The color looks similar to Marble White OC-34 by Benjamin Moore. A glaze may have been used to create a slightly distressed or aged look. This is done by applying a darker glaze and wiping most of it off. This leaves the glaze in the crevices of the cabinet, giving it an aged effect.
could these cabinets be used as "support beams" When walls can not be taken down, put in a glass cabinet? I - could these cabinets be used as "support beams"
When walls can not be taken down, put in a glass cabinet?
